Blygger protocol 0.4 is published: blygger.org/spec/0.4/, with its first dated snapshot at /spec/0.4/2026-10-18/. 0.3 is superseded and stays citable.
Two constructs ruled earlier are now normative, each built and tested across live blygs first:
- Remote generation sources (§5.7, §15.4): a model may draw on another blyg's item, which is disclosed as a source and notifies its origin.
- The manifest locates the surface (§4, §6.1): a manifest may say where its feed, items and pins live, which is how WordPress publishes natively.
And the grammar gains an optional label: [[id | text]], ![[id | text]] (§10.1). Blygger Studio supports it from 0.47.0.
A valid 0.3 document is a valid 0.4 document unchanged.
